Natural Fossil Stone
Green River Stone Company, a privately held USA company, is dedicated to the creation of timeless works of art using fossil-rich limestone. The quarry site was a tropical lake teeming with freshwater fish, plants and other animals. Over many millennia the lakebed petrified into layer upon layer of fossil-rich stone. The 35-50 million-year-old stone is unearthed in a southwestern Wyoming quarry…transported to the Logan, Utah preparation laboratory where the stone is converted by hand into a custom museum quality fossil art piece.
Green River Fossilized Stone produces one-of-a-kind murals, table/counter tops, kitchen backsplashes, shower floors, assorted custom cut tiles sizes for residential and commercial interiors. Sample tile pieces are available to preview the fossil for your custom interior project.
